Heart4Humanity-Uganda  is a non-profit  registered community based organization in Uganda, interested in providing scholastic materials, food, clothes and health care to orphaned children and children from very poor families. We also fight for children neglected to their right to education.

We are currently supporting 400 orphans and vulnerable children in our poor communities.

 

​We focus on the most neediest vulnerable children in Uganda. Many of these children have lost one or both parents to poverty or disease. We also help these children to break away from the everyday cycle of poverty and hopelessness.

Child  neglect occur in all sections of our society, but the risk factors are greater in orphaned families, parents  having economic  challenges, have difficulty controlling anger, alcohol or drugs abused , have little to no education and were abused or neglected as children.

Mission:  To Empower Orphans and Vulnerable children in the communities by providing them with basic needs (food, shelter, clothing’s, health care and education) and building their life skills through early childhood development activities.

Objectives.

•  Zero hunger: Implement daily meal programs in different schools, reaching over 5000 children, to improve attendance and performance.

• Clean  & safe Water: Drill and maintain new water wells in rural villages, providing clean water to hundreds of thousands of people within our poor communities.

• Poverty: Establishing a community garden to provide fresh foods to thousands of people living below the poverty line with in our communities.

• Education: Promoting education through increasing literacy rates by 25% among children by offering scholarships, funding schools, or providing educational materials and programs.

• Healthcare: Improving access to healthcare services, medical research, or supporting those with specific health conditions.

• Emergency Response: Provide rapid and effective responses to emergencies such as natural disasters, conflicts, or pandemics.

• Disaster Relief: Providing aid and support to communities affected by natural disasters, such as Land-slides, famine, earthquakes, or floods.

• Human Rights: Advocating for and supporting the rights of marginalized or oppressed groups, such as refugees, women, children, irrespective to gender, color or religion.

• Environmental Conservation: Working towards sustainability, protecting wildlife, preserving natural resources, and combating climate change.

• Community Development: Fostering community growth, infrastructure development, and economic empowerment.

• Research: Supporting scientific research in various fields, such as medical research, environmental studies, or social sciences.

• Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with other organizations, governments, and stakeholders to maximize impact and share resources.

 

Below are some of our aims.

•  To care and support abandoned, abused, neglected, orphaned and homeless children.                       

•  The provision of educate or early childhood development services for pre-school children of poor and needy children where more than 90 percent of those children are under the age of 18.

•  The distribution of information related to HIV/AIDS and children rights. The counseling of their families in this regard, the provision of preventative and education programs relating to HIV/AIDS, the care, counseling or treatment of children afflicted with HIV/AIDS, including care or counseling of their families and dependents in this regard and the provision of primary health care education. 

•  To use dance, drama and music to share culture and experience.

•  To establish sports clubs and participate in different sporting activities.
